The playing fields are available only for those students playing games/sports.  Students who sit and talk can do so on the batters not the fields.

There will be a boys only Year 11 Assembly in the hall during Tutor time today.  Please make sure that you let them all know.
UNITEC LIAISON VISIT - Year 12 & 13 - Careers Dept
The Liaison officer from Unitec will be in the Careers Department today at lunchtime. This is a great opportunity to find out more about their programmes.

Remember we have practice today after school and tomorrow lunchtime. If you do not show up, don’t expect to play in the finals.

Competition here at Rutherford this afternoon. Meet in Sports Coordinators office behind the Sports Hall at lunchtime to pick up sports uniform. Assemble by village at 4pm for competition.  Ensure you have paid at accounts please.

MEETINGS/PRACTICES/REHEARSALS LATER THIS WEEK

RUGBY PRACTICE – All Boys – Mr White
Thursday morning 7.30 – 8.30am.  All players must attend.
BASKETBALL - All Players - Mr Paterson
Calling all basketball players both boys and girls. There is a must attend meeting in the Sports Hall at lunch time on Thursday. Even if you have not yet signed up you need to attend this meeting if you are wanting to play basketball this year.
GLEE CLUB AUDITIONS – Ms Faaea- Semeatu
Students who signed up for Glee Club – come to a meeting next Monday 8th March at lunchtime in the School Hall to obtain audition information.  Auditions will start next Wednesday 10th , Thursday 11th  and Friday 12th  at lunchtimes.
Junior students who signed up will audition on Wednesday.  Senior students who signed up will audition on Thursday and Friday.
CULTURAL CAPTAINS MEETING – Ms Faaea- Semeatu

GENERAL NOTICES

UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND - FUTURES EVENING -  Year 12 & 13 - Careers Dept
The University of Auckland will be holding an evening for Year 12 & 13 girls who have an interest in Physics, Maths and Computer Science. The evening will introduce students to the various science programs that are available and let students interact with successful women role models from the workforce. This evening will be held on Tuesday 30th March from 5.30 – 8.15pm. Supper will be provided. Please see the Careers Department for further information.

Please make sure your $15 fee is paid as soon as possible and your forms handed in. Debates begin next week so make sure you  meet your coach and team mates this week.
