Rutherford College is pleased to announce we will be holding our first Father Daughter Breakfast on Thursday, 2 September 2021. The breakfast will start at 7.15am in the school hall and be finished by 8.40am. Uniform Update

Rutherford is in the process of changing uniform suppliers and is still working through this change. As of Friday, 16 July, the school uniform will not be available to purchase from Lenco in Pataki Road. Once our new process is in place, we will let you know and update the website. Maori and Pasifika Careers Evening

On Thursday, 29 July Rutherford College will be hosting a careers evening for our senior Māori and Pasifika students. There will be talks from members of our local community who will be sharing information around how they got into their current role and their route through tertiary and training. There will also be representatives from tertiary institutions and training providers in the Info Comms. All seniors are invited to attend the event from 6 to 8pm. Refreshments will be served. Chess Tournament

Chess Tournament

On Tuesday, 15 June, two teams from Rutherford College competed in the inter-school chess tournament hosted in Kelston Boys High School. The A team - Oliver Gracewood, Preston Lee, Jay Huggins and Daepung Lee - placed an impressive 3rd equal overall, competing against Auckland Grammar and Auckland International College. Unfortunately, the A team lost the tiebreaker and placed 6th out of 10. The B team - Ted Rho, Sean Park, Tony Schaufelberger and Edwin Schaufelberger - placed 9th. New Finance Office Hours

As of Term 3, the cashier/finance office (located next to our reception) will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: interval 11am to 11.25am and lunchtime 1.25pm to 2.05pm to accept payments. The school is gradually moving to a cashless environment and families will be informed at a later date of ways to pay online.
