The 2020 programme at Rutherford College offers both night classes and weekend workshops for adults as well as daytime ESOL classes and family friendly courses for children 13yrs+ when accompanied by an adult.

We’ve brought back all the favourites such as Dog obedience, Pottery, Mexican cooking, Welding, NZ Sign Language, Yoga and Barista plus we’ve got over 40 new courses.

New courses include Kombucha, Cajun & Creole Cooking, Bone Carving, Mindfulness, Computer Essentials, Photography and lots more!

All of our tutors are qualified in teaching to adults- many of them specialists in their particular field – and you will find that learning is easy in the relaxed social atmosphere of Community Education
