On Wednesday, 21 August 2019 the Rutherford College Mathex teams joined the top year 9 and 10 Mathematic scholars from other Auckland Schools at ASB stadium Kohimarama. They were under the direction of Mrs Taylor, and year 11 coaches, Amanda Lowe and Chris Adams

The teams had been practicing during lunchtimes with previous years questions. The excitement and enthusiastic participation of all teams on the night was very pleasing and although the Rutherford teams did not gain a podium place they achieved at a very high level.

Once again the behaviour and sportsmanship of the Rutherford Teams were exemplary. A huge thank you to Mr Stanton and Mrs Stanton for volunteering to be required markers for the evening.
