On Thursday, 24 October we had both a boys U15 team and a girls U15 team compete in the Auckland Rugby 7s Secondary School Tournament at Waitemata Rugby Club. This was a fun, but very wet day out for both teams.

The day consisted of three or four games. They battled the rain and played some great games and some very tough games. The competition was of great standard and both teams put in the hard work and had a great attitude.

The support the teams gave each other was great to see and they represented Rutherford proudly.

Well done to all those who competed and we hope to be back again next year.
