On Sunday, 17 March our newly formed teams led by year 13 students Caz Chiba and Abby Ferrall competed in a one day tournament in Takanini’s Pulman Park.

They had an awesome day of fun and full on games, and came away with respectable placings out of a total of 6 Girls teams and 12 Open teams. Students felt they learnt heaps and really enjoyed the game.

I would like to offer a special thanks to Caz, Abby and the other senior students for coaching and leading the junior players with training sessions and on the day. We now have a large Rutherford College Ultimate group that will continue through all year levels.

I would also like to thank the parent volunteers who made the day possible for our students!
