On Wednesday, 8 May 2019 a group of Year 12 and 13 students attended the 20 for 20 Black Grace show in Glen Eden at the Playhouse Theatre.

The highlight was seeing ex-Rutherford student Rodney Tyrell who is now a professional dancer with the company and travels internationally performing at festivals to sold-out theatres.

The students enjoyed seeing the mix of athleticism, humour, skill and the fusion of pacific and contemporary dance.
