After leaving Rutherford College Tiaki Toki (ex-student) and I were presented with an opportunity to go in the Passive Fire industry and gain a qualification.

Through the help of Mana in Mahi Programme and The Passafe Company we were put through a 5-week intensive training program with thre- weeks of theory and two-weeks of practical hands-on. Although a newer industry many opportunities present themselves to us every time we go to work.

We will now be working towards gaining our level 3 qualification
