Footballs Skills Day

On Tuesday, 28 May 2019, Rutherford College hosted 10 teams of students from nearby schools for Football Skills challenge. It was held in the Sports Hall. We had a wonderful team of volunteers from our school to organise and run the tournament, keep scores for the teams and also help to clear away equipment at the end.

Students participated in dribbling, ball control, goal shooting and passing. It was also a great opportunity to socialise. Both Rutherford Tohea and Rutherford Kotuku teams were placed second in their respective divisions.
