On Wednesday, 25 September seven of our year 10 and year 11 German language students, along with their families, celebrated their success in the annual German speech competition at the Goethe Society Prizegiving at Auckland University.
The actual speech competition was held on Saturday, 24 August. Students had to introduce themselves in German and then hold an unrehearsed conversation. Our students mastered this challenge really well and were rewarded with two gold medals that went to Astrid Holster in year 10 and Alex Johnson in year 11, four silver medals and one bronze medal.
Herzlichen Glueckwunsch to all the prize winners.
