My Backyard Garden Project has been introduced to Rutherford College to help develop edible gardens where our students and community live, learn and work together.

We believe we are onto an exciting journey that will bring enormous benefits for the school, whanau and community.

We have teamed up with Sports Waitakere, Auckland Council and MBGP to get the ball rolling.

This is where we NEED YOU !! A working bee has been organided for Saturday, 11 August 1.00pm to start clearing the area. Grab your spade, gardening gloves and gumboots  and pop down to Rutherford, the area needs to be cleared before we can move on to the next step.
