This is a timely reminder that the last day for payment of NCEA fees to the school is 31 August.
Financial assistance is available to assist with the payment of entry fees for NCEA. To be eligible to apply you must be the fee-payer and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- be receiving a Work and Income or Study Link benefit. (benefit-based applications).
- have a joint family income that would entitle you to receive a Community Services Card (income-based applications).
- be a fee-payer with two or more children who are candidates, irrespective of family income (multiple candidate applications), where the total fees you would have to pay would otherwise be more than the $200 multiple candidate maximum.
How do you apply for financial assistance?
Complete an application form which is available from the school office. Return the completed form to the school and we will process your application.
One of the main questions we get from parents is: What if we don’t know the National Student Number?
Although the form asks you to provide this information you do not need to worry about this as we will do this for you. Our main need is to have the Community Services Card number if you are applying on the basis of Criteria 1 – Benefit-based application.
