Festival of Adult Learning Overview

Last week, during the Festival of Adult Learning we had delightful engagement with members of local communities in Te Atatu Peninsula, Henderson, Ranui, New Lynn, Glen Eden and Hobsonville Point. Our centre offered free taster workshops in Floral Art and English ESOL courses. The participants had a glimpse of the courses content, new knowledge and skills . All our 70 tutors received a small token of our appreciation -  the award of Exceptional Adult Educator. Great mahi in 2023! Our barista course students had an unexpected guest speaker - Mayank, whom is one of our top NZ barista New Zealand Championship for latte art techniques and coffee cupping. Kindly, he had shared some of his experience and skills in coffee making and latte art. We felt quite spoiled and very lucky to have Mayank at our centre!
