NZ Author Rachael Craw visited the Library

We were very lucky to have Rachael Craw talking to 9SL. Rachael is an amazing NZ author and a teacher, she was born in Christchurch and lived her whole life there until the 2010 and 2011 Earthquakes, now she is living in Nelson with her family.

Rachael came here thanks to the Storylines National Festival Story Tour, where lots of schools in New Zealand get the privilege to meet and listen to amazing NZ authors.

Rachael’s best known books are “The Spark Trilogy” these books have received 5 start reviews and several awards. Spark, her first book, has even been optioned for film by Miss Conception Films. You can find her books in the Library and also in our E-Platform.

Her new book The Rift is out on November this year and the Library has already pre-ordered.

We here at Rutherford College feel very privileged to have had Rachael visiting us, it was a great and fun experience.
