Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow – Live for the Moment!
There are two days in every week which we should not worry about. Two days which should be kept free from fear and anxiety.
One of these days is yesterday, as it has now passed. We cannot undo a single act or erase a single word said or left unsaid. Positive reflection is fine if we learn from it and do not dwell negatively on it.
The other day is tomorrow. Tomorrow is not in our immediate control although we can plan for what it may bring, but we cannot control it.
This leaves today, save your willpower and energy for today and doing your best in the current moment. It is not the experience of today that truly frustrates or upsets us but the remorse and anger for something that happened. Dreading what tomorrow may bring and regretting what happened yesterday only infects today.
Take action today, do what you can in the here and now. We can all choose our attitude to the past and present and future. Doing our best in the moment provides positive emotion and puts us in the best place for the next moment.
Whenever we do what we can in the moment, we somehow can immediately do more. So be the best version of you that you can be and get started on something you can control.
