The Pat Hanly Award for creativity, presented by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki, is…
This was an awesome experience for our students.
We were taken on a guided tour that showed the history of the New Zealand All Blacks. We were blessed to be accompanied by three Black Ferns; Kendra Cocksedge, Charmaine Mcmenamin, and Marcelle Parkes. They shared their experiences with us and what it meant to put on the black jersey.
The girls were involved in some fun interactive games with the Ferns. The games were aimed at testing our focus, strategy, and mental skills under pressure.
Our girls also took part in some fun activities that tested their kicking skills, passing and throwing skills, agility, and general knowledge.
