On Thursday, 4 April a girls and a boys team went to Moire Park in Massey to play in the Senior Tag Football Tournament.

The sun was shining and the games got underway with the girl’s team playing first and to their first win of the day. They started out strong and came away with a great 14-2 win. The girls played another three games throughout the day before they got through to the final after finishing 3rd in their pool. Unfortunately, they were beaten in the final and finished 6th overall.

The boys had their first game next but the competition made it a tough battle and they just missed out on winning with the score being 7-6. The boys had another four games throughout the day and they were all very strong teams creating fun and competitive games. They won two out of their final four games.

Overall it was a great tournament for the students and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
