Congratulations to Year 13 student Rachel Kim of 13WD who competed in the Stand up Stand out Vocal Heats on the 4th of August at OMAC. She performed an aria from The Barber of Seville, “Una voce poco fa” by Gioacchino Rossini and out of 180 entries she has received news that she has progressed through to the Semi Finals to be held at the Auckland Town Hall on the 4th of September.
If you teach her please congratulate her – she is hoping to get into Music School next year to study Classical Voice. She is such a hard working vocalist and is very deserving of this.
