During the last week of term 3 we gathered all of the Year 9 tutor classes and all of the peer mentors together to celebrate the STARS peer mentors graduation.

Each peer mentor group awarded 4-5 prizes to their tutor classes that they have worked with this year. These awards were for most valuable, most improved and some others that they dreamed up for individuals.

The year 9 students all stood up and performed the school Haka for the peer mentors to thank them for their time and leadership over the year. Lily Moore lead the Haka and spoke some very kind words of appreciation on behalf of the year 9 cohort.

The Peer Mentors were then awarded their certificates for their hard work over the year.

It has been great to see how much the relationships have developed over the year and the positive impact this has once again had for the Year 9 cohort.
