On behalf of the Barnardos Child and Family team here in Te Atatu South, we would like to say a huge thank you to all the students who made the effort to bring goods to school to donate to our Barnardos families.

During the course of our work, we come across families and children in all different circumstances. We offer them support in a number of ways but having something practical like books and games to give to children is always gratefully received. Unfortunately, these items are probably the ones that families can’t buy very often so we were very happy to see the bags and bags you all managed to collect!

Thanks again for the great effort – we really appreciate you thinking of others in your community.
