Week 9 is another busy week in the Info Comms. Classes arrive every period and study students fill out the rest of the space. They all have favourite tables, corners, soft seats, views and spaces. Many like to share and confer while they work and it creates a very studious, calm atmosphere.

We put up displays with the help of our student library monitors that promote our books and online resources. This week we’ve been supporting BLM and showing off our Matariki collection. One display is devoted to EPIC, a set of databases the students use for research and can access 24/7 from school or home.

And of course we have our readers – there are lots of new books for them to choose from.
We hope everyone will have time to curl up with a book somewhere warm during the upcoming break.
