Turangawaewae Gardening Project got a boost when Mrs Goulding donated some materials and seeds to start our mini-greenhouses.

Herself an avid gardener, Mrs Goulding had some spare sunflower, lettuce, tomato, watermelon and swan plant seeds. She also provided us with recyclable containers and showed us how we could set up mini-greenhouses right on our window sills.

The garden project has been in the planning stages with support from our Occupational Therapist Lucy McKenzie and with discussions between staff and students.

We are looking forward to starting to grow our seedlings very soon.
