Whakamihi ki a Tiana Maihi
Whakamihi ki a Tiana Maihi.
He whakamihi tēnei ki a Tiana Maihi mō tana mahi.
This is a big congratulations to Tiana Maihi, Year 13, her parents Charlene and Taniora and their wider whānau. Tiana has signed a contract with the Ministry of Education giving them the rights to a piece of her mahi that she has produced in Level 2 Mahi-a-Toi in 2017.
Her mahi was noticed i tērā Whiringa-ā-Rangi (last November) when it was in the 2017 National Toi Māori Showcase in Te Whanga-nui-a-Tara. (Wellington) The Ministry of Education approached Tiana this year and the toi (art) will now be the branding for Ministry of Education brochures, pamphlets and the like. This is a massive achievement.
Mahi pai tēnei e Tiana!
