Year 12 Chinese Class Trip

On Thursday, 6 September the Year 12 Chinese class went to Yum Cha to experience the Chinese food culture as part of their learning topic of food. Yum Cha is a local South China cuisine where people go to have authentic Chinese food, drink tea and socialise.

Many of the students have never been to Yum Cha, so they were eager and excited to try this unique experience. The students had sampled foods such as chicken feet, turnip cake and fried taro dumplings, alongside the standard prawn dumplings, pork buns and fried squid.

All of the students thoroughly enjoyed this cultural experience, and could not wait to go again!
