Senior German Students Celebrate at Annual Restaurant Trip

Senior German Students Celebrate at Annual Restaurant Trip

The trip was fun and memorable

The Senior German students recently enjoyed their annual trip to a German restaurant, joined by fellow German students and teachers from Lynfield College and Green Bay High School. The outing marked the completion of all internal German assessments for the year and was a well-deserved celebration.

Students ordered from a delicious German buffet, sampling a variety of traditional dishes and even trying out some authentic desserts. Throughout the evening, German was spoken as much as possible, giving everyone the chance to put their language skills into practice in a real-world setting.

A highlight of the night was Vincent’s spontaneous thank-you speech delivered in German, which earned a round of applause from both students and teachers.

The trip was a fun and memorable way to celebrate the hard work of the year, strengthen friendships of German learners across schools, and, of course, enjoy some great food.
