Proudly welcoming international students from all over the world for more than 20 years.
Located in our purpose built international village, our dedicated team of experienced, caring educators work closely with our homestay provider, teaching colleagues, families and agents to ensure that all students receive the care they need during their stay.
Big enough to offer a wide range of subject choice but small enough to care.
Rutherford College offers a wide range of subjects that, at the senior level, are centered around the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA). In addition to subject choice, our international students receive support through an English Language programme that caters to different proficiency levels, from Foundation to Academic English. During orientation, our Head of English Language assesses each student's English level and then based on this, our Director of International Students works with each student to create a personalised programme that matches their interests while also meeting their academic goals.
We boast a great location!
