On Thursday June 12th, Lucy Day and Myra Tan took the mats at the Auckland Secondary Schools Gym Sports Competition. Lucy competed in the highest level, Level 10 Rhythmic Gymnastics, achieving an impressive 3rd place.

Myra participated in Level 9 Rhythmic Gymnastics, earning 1st place in her division.

Both students represented Rutherford College with strong individual results in their respective events.

Last weekend Lucy continued her streak by competing at the Midlands competition held in Tauranga, representing her club. She secured 3rd place in the Level 10 Ribbon Division, 6th overall and qualified for the NZ nationals which will be held later in the year.
