On Thursday 25th June, 11 of our Year 13 Māori & Pasifika students ventured out to the AUT City campus to take part in the Aspire Day Programme.
This day was designed to empower students as they prepare for life beyond high school in 2027.
Through informative presentations, staff members provided insights into the wide range of courses available and explained what students can expect from university life. A guest speaker, who was also a past student at AUT, shared inspiring stories about his journey through AUT and how taking advantage of small opportunities can lead to meaningful achievements in life.
“The day provided valuable guidance, practical advice, and reassurance, empowering us to turn our aspirations into actions and feel more confident in making informed decisions about university and our future pathways”. Ayana Asif 13MWS
Our students thought the AUT Aspire Programme answered many of their questions and gave them more confidence about their future.
