Do you remember Rutherford College in the 1970s? The friendships, the characters, the school days, the music, the fashion – and perhaps a few memories that are best left in the past?

We’re inviting all Rutherfordians from the 1970s to come back to school for a special evening of reconnection, reminiscing and celebration.

Join us on Friday 25 September 2026 for an opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet fellow alumni and see how much Rutherford has changed – while discovering that some things never will!

The evening begins with a tour of the school at 5.00pm, giving you a chance to revisit some familiar places and see how the College has evolved over the years. From 6.00pm, it’s time to mix and mingle, share stories and reconnect with people from your school days. There will be a live band, food available to purchase and a cash/EFTPOS bar, with one free drink included in your $20 ticket.

Whether you left Rutherford in the early, mid or late 1970s, we’d love to see you there. And if you’re still in touch with old classmates, spread the word – this is the perfect opportunity to get everyone back together.
