As indicated in the Principal’s Panui last week, Rutherford has an increased focus on the importance of regular attendance at school. You may have received an email providing information about your child’s attendance for the previous few weeks.

Attendance Follow Up

The purpose of this information is to keep your fully informed about your son or daughter’s attendance and not to cause you distress or upset you. You can also monitor your son or daughter’s attendance on the School Portal at any time when you log in. If you have any questions about the attendance report please contact your son or daughter’s tutor teacher in the first instance.

Performing Arts Showcase

Students have been working very hard this term in preparation for the Performing Arts Showcase next week. Do come along to view outstanding performances in Dance, Music and Drama on either Tuesday 4 or Wednesday 5 April at 7.30pm. Please note tickets can be purchased online only at https://www.trybooking.com/nz/events/landing?eid=8990&
There will be NO Door Sales.

Term 1 Reports
Next week reports will be ready for viewing on the School Portal. Please remember to log in via the website or use this link to access the Portal. Once in the portal you can click on Reports to view the latest report for your son or daughter.
If you are having trouble logging in, please refer to these instructions to make things easier.

Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

On Thursday 6 April, we will be opening up the booking page for Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences. The date for the conference is Thursday 4 May from 2pm to 8pm. Teachers get booked up fast so please book early. To make your booking, please log in to the School Portal and click on “Term 2 PSST Conferences”. To make a booking, choose the teacher you wish to see and click on the appropriate time. You will be emailed a confirmation.
If you have any problems please email the office on [email protected] or phone the office when school resumes in Term 2.

April 6 – last day of Term 1
April 6 is a normal school day for all students. The cross country will occur for those students who are signed up but the rest of the school attend classes as normal until 3.10pm.
The first day for Term 2 is Wednesday 26 April at 8.55am. Remember 24 April is a Staff Only Day and there are no scheduled classes.
