Our boys’ hockey team had an awesome season, and it couldn’t have ended any better, taking out first place in the West Auckland competition!

The final was such a great game to watch. It was locked at nil-all at full time, sending it into sudden death. Jackson Muller came through with a cracker of a goal and Cameron Deo was a standout in goal, pulling off an incredible save that sealed the 2–1 win.

The boys have worked hard all season, backed each other the whole way, and really left it all out on the field. We’re so proud of what they’ve achieved. What a way to finish!

A huge thank you to Matt Lyon too, who stepped in as coach this season. Rain or shine, he was there for the boys every step of the way. We really appreciated all the time and effort he gave to the team.
