A huge congratulations to every student who took part

On Wednesday, 12th August, approximately 60 Rutherford College students and 4 staff members braved the cold and wet conditions to compete in the Secondary Schools Tough Guy & Gal Challenge. 

By the end of the event, many of our students were almost unrecognizable, covered from head to toe in mud after giving the challenge everything they had! 

A huge congratulations to every student who took part. It was fantastic to see so many students stepping outside their comfort zones. A special mention goes to our staff members Kevin Gilmore, Nathan Matai'a, Jenny Wilson and Rosie Simpson, who took on the challenge alongside our students. 

Congratulations to Kevin Gilmore and Rosie Simpson on taking out first place in the Teachers’ Section—an outstanding achievement! 

A huge congratulations also to Leila Richard Masters, who finished third in the Junior Girls Division fantastic result. 

Well done to everyone involved! What an incredible effort from our Rutherford College team.
