On Tuesday 25th June, our Turangawaewae students participated in the annual Special Olympics Football Tournament. There were 18 teams at the event and over 200 students from the West Auckland area. 

Our team played two fixtures against Green Bay & Waitakere College and won both 5-2 & 19-2. It was a great day out and wonderful to see all our students competing and enjoying the experience.

The next event for Turangawaewae is the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament in Term 3.
