On Friday 9th August we hosted a KBB Pre-Festival Concert together with Liston College and Te Atatu Intermediate. A wonderful opportunity for our akonga to showcase their repertoire to their whanau and friends before they compete at the KBB Music Festival. 

It was a combined concert with our talented Concert Band, Te Atatu Intermediate Advanced Band and Liston's Jazz and Concert Bands. Three of our students - Ben McIntyre, Max RobbMarkham and Elan van Dolleweerd - have also been part of the Liston Jazz Band this year so this concert was a good chance for us to see them perform in this ensemble. 

The night ended with a combined performance of "Star Wars". It was great to have our community, whanau and friends join us to celebrate the hard work that our akonga have put in throughout the year.
