On the weekend of August 3rd – 4th, Amy Thomson, one of our talented runners showcased her expertise at the New Zealand Cross Country Championships held in Napier. 

Competing in the under-16 category, she delivered an outstanding performance, securing 9th place in a highly competitive field. Despite the challenging muddy and cold conditions, she demonstrated impressive fitness and skill throughout the race. Her efforts not only earned her a top 10 finish but also contributed significantly to the success of the Auckland team, which took home the gold medal. 

Her participation and performance in these championships highlight her commitment and enthusiasm for racing. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and look forward to supporting her in future races. Her determination and love for the sport are truly inspiring, and we can't wait to see where her talent takes her next!
