On Wednesday, October 30th, our junior boys’ tag team took to the fields at Moire Park for the Junior Central North Western Zone One-Day Tournament. Our 15 boys on the squad were lucky to have Joel Gibson as their coach, bringing energy and strategy to every game. The day had its ups and downs – just like the weather – but the boys had an awesome time out on the field.

They had some tough pool games right from the start, facing strong teams that kept us all on our toes. But the boys played hard and managed to push through to the quarterfinals, where they came up short against Kelston Boys who proved to be too strong. 

A huge thanks goes out to Ana Aramoana for all her help on the day, and to Joel for being an incredible coach. Even with the unpredictable weather, everyone had a great time, and the boys walked away with some solid game experience and good memories. Well done to the team for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
